Sherex by PEM offers a comprehensive selection of round body rivet nuts designed to fit into Inch (Imperial) or Metric drilled or punched hole sizes.
Blind Rivet Nuts provide load-bearing threads in thin sheet materials that are too thin for a tapped thread. They are called “blind” because they can be installed from one side of the workpiece. Once the rivet nut is installed, additional components can be attached using threaded fasteners.

Hex Body Rivet Nuts
Hex body rivet nuts provide superior spin-out resistance to round body rivet nuts. When a hex-shaped hole can be produced, we recommend using one of our half hex or full hex rivet nut product lines:
- Half Hex rivet nuts are ideal for light-duty applications and can be installed using all Sherex by PEM tools
- Full Hex rivet nuts are ideal for heavy-duty applications and should be installed with hydro-pneumatic spin-pull tools

Large Size Rivet Nuts
Sherex by PEM Large Size rivet nuts are offered in sizes from 3/4 -10 and M16. These rivet nuts were developed for applications where critical joint performance and high tensile loads are required., such as automotive, heavy truck/trailer, ag/construction equipment, pole/tower, HVAC, and other applications requiring larger sized bolts in thin materials.

RIV-FLOAT® Rivet Nuts
RIV-FLOAT® rivet nuts feature an internally floating thread, allowing for component attachments in off-center applications. This innovative, patented rivet nut helps assemblers easily handle tolerance stack up in joint design and misalignment during service of the joint.
RIV-FLOAT® also allows post-finish installation in applications where weld nuts or cage nuts are typically used.
RIV-FLOAT® Short's low-profile design, it provides greater backside clearance making it ideal for space-constrained applications. With 0.020” radial float, it delivers both flexibility and helps eliminates cross-threading during assembly.
Install both RIV-FLOAT and RIV-FLOAT Short with standard rivet nut hydro-pneumatic tooling.
